Why crypto is easy to hide
There is no central registry for self-custody holdings. Pseudonymous addresses, overseas exchanges, and cross-chain movement make cryptocurrency easy to omit from standard financial disclosure without specialist forensic analysis.
What on-chain forensics can prove
Blockchain forensics can establish wallet attribution, transfer timing, and ownership indicators - but also has evidentiary limits. We document what the evidence supports and what it cannot prove, so counsel can rely on findings that withstand court scrutiny.
